Introduction
FleetPulseGO Track is a low-cost, ultra-compact asset tracker for fleet visibility and asset recovery insights. Track requires no maintenance or hardwiring, withstands extreme temperatures, and features up to seven years of battery life—without replacements. Combined with its design for quick and discreet placement, Track is truly the ultimate “set it and forget it” tracker for fleet protection.

Device Installation Locations
The FleetPulseGO Track device is designed to report data in various mounting positions.
Recommended mounting and installation locations on a trailer:
- Below, near, or around the landing gear or in various areas inside and around the axles.
- Inside the crossmembers of the trailer belly.
- On / inside / around the mounted accessory equipment below the trailer.
- On the rear mudflap crossmember bracket or near docking bumper area / rear underride guard.
- Inside a TRU accessible area.
Installation
- Position device in mounting location using base magnet.
- Wrap around zip-ties and secure loose guided inside grooves.
- Using zip-tie tool, tighten zip-ties until device mounting component, and zip-ties are flush, molded. TIP: Tighten to the tool limit.
- Cut excess zip-ties from the tightened position.
NOTE: If you're having trouble finding a suitable location on a used semi-trailer, you can mount the Track device underneath, inside the landing gear wing plate. Just make sure the surface is cleaned and drilled before installation.

Additional Information
- Recovery Mode is designed for users to monitor asset location and real-time movement for short durations.
- Recovery Mode has a high impact on battery life.
- Recovery Mode is preprogrammed to last for 3 days after which it changes to Normal Mode.
- Trip Mode is designed for users to monitor asset location and movement.
- Trip Mode has a medium impact on battery life and depletion rate will depend on the number of trips taken per day.
- Normal Mode is designed for users to monitor asset location daily.
- Normal Mode can increase the battery life by ~ 30% more.

IMPORTANT NOTE
-
Before the device can transmit updates to the platform:
- It must establish a GPS fix and connect to a cellular network.
- Signal acquisition is highly dependent on the device’s location and the strength of GPS and cellular signals in the area.
- If your device does not report immediately, do not panic.

If the status LEDs do not illuminate when the button is pressed, the battery may be dead.
- Contact support@fleetpulse.com if you have further questions.
Device Activation
Devices arrive activated from the factory. If a device is not reporting after being paired, follow the outlined steps to activate it.
NOTE: Device activation is best performed with the device outside under open sky for fast location fix and reduced platform check-in time.

Press & hold the Push Button until the LED Status Light begins to flash Green.
- TIP: Count to 5 when LED starts to flash.

When the LED Status light is solid Green, release the button.
- Green signifies both GPS and Cellular have connected successfully.
- The LED will flash Blue as it connects to the cellular network for the first time.
- The LED will then flash Orange as it acquires GPS fix.
- The LED will then flash Blue as it connects to the cellular network.
- The Track device will enter TRIP mode and display LED color according to condition:

Additional Tips
- If the button is not held the LED will flash Green, then White and will not exit ‘SHIP’ mode.
- GPS fix may be affected by surrounding buildings, covered/underground parking structures, trees, geography, or may be installed in a position that degrades or blocks GPS signal reception.
- Check LTE reception in the area and reposition device if surrounded by metal and perform commissioning process again
Device Maintenance
FleetPulse recommends performing the following maintenance actions at least once every 12 months:

Data quality check:
- All Sensors should be reporting as expected in the FleetPulse platform.
- Connectivity Status should be green and read as Good.
- If any sensors are not reporting, please reach out to support@fleetpulse.com for troubleshooting help.

Inspect Track device location and ensure device is securely attached:
- Check for physical damage on device.
- If using a mounting bracket, ensure the bolts are secure and tightened.

If using steel zip ties, ensure zip ties are tight and not missing.
- Track device should not be able to shift or move once fastened to the asset
Warranty
Disclaimer
Used parts must be returned within 30 days of FleetPulse or manufacturer shipping new replacement parts. If the used part is not returned in time, the company requesting a warranty will be invoiced for a new part and shipping and handling.
Customer to pay for shipping costs of used parts.
FleetPulse or its supplier manufacturers have the right to deny any claims if parts are found to be functional, past the warranty period, failed due to customer abuse, failed due to operational hazards, disassembled or other non-OE related causes.
